Shopping at St James

St. James Station is so pretty, below are photos taken from a platform at the station. Note, they change the poster each season. I'm a tad annoyed with myself for not taking a photo of the autumn theme.

Loubies, not sure if I want these as my formal shoes but they are 40% off which makes them even more alluring
My casual formal look: Tommy cable knit sweater combined with a polo blouse.

Oiden Review

Oiden is another Japanese restaurant situated next to Mappen on George St

It's a great place to eat when you're in a hurry because the food comes out in like a minute since it's kind of like cafeteria service which means its super cheap! Also for those interested in visiting Oiden, its rice only because Mappen is soba or udon (I think they're owned by the same person).

My $5.90 oroshi beef (half-cooked egg)

Collaroy Beach

Hi, Hi, sorry for my hiatus, was off at exams and camp (plus shopping) so now I'm going to spam you with multiple posts about food and fashion (not really) (:

Camp was exhausting and the weather wasn't exactly pleasant. Grey skies, lots of clouds but a double rainbow appeared which I wasn't able to capture.
How do you like my outfit? excuse my fail model pose (jks I'm no model)

 Outfit:
Hello Kitty Top, True Religion Skirt, Ysl Canvas bag, fake jermey scott wings and yes this is a first, me wearing fakes but I will buy the real sneakers...soon!
My friend whose a 'part-time' male model, you be the judge.
 Scenery
Rainbow, I should've taken a panorama shot to get the whole rainbow

I think I'm in love (cont.d)

Sorry for the double post but I just couldn't help myself, I love Hermes too much for my own good- the fact that (almost) everything is entirely handmade by a master craftsman in Paris just sounds too alluring

the next one is not as interesting because it doesn't speed up the process by it does show how one craftsman and one craftsman alone works on a particular leathergood from start to finish so there's no assembly line

I think I'm in love...

Just casually doing my rounds on the internet sifting for things that catch my eye. You might know this but I have a massive love affair with brands especially Salvatore Ferragamo. I myself own a ferragamo purse and I just bought a wallet which will be gifted to my mother as a birthday present, anyhow the point is that I love their craftsmanship and if you're curious then just watch some of the videos.

A Game of Shadows

Trivia Night at school so I thought I'd share my outfit and you probably can't tell from my outfit but my group's theme was detectives - 1920s I think but yeah I wore this with a 'trench coat' and a massive magnifying glass (:
Don't you just love frills, it might not be 1920s but its reminiscent yeah?
Topped off with a cashmere cardigan and dress pants to be sort of office like but I guess the tan cardigan echoed the theme.
And finally my beloved LV sunnies (tortoise- evidence)

Gelato Messina

Okay you might think I'm crazy going all the way to Darlinghurst for gelato but can you blame me when you're dealing with an award winning store
Look below and you'll see why
 Revolving cake stand!
 MENU
Bombe Alaska and Dr Evil's Magic Mushroom
GELATO
 MORE GELATO
 EVEN MORE GELATO
My Gelato Cake- Black Forest serves 14-16... (and no I didn't finish it all by myself)

So if this didnt convince you to go to visit Gelato Messina then I don't know what will!

Grill'd Review

Not a fan of fast food burgers but if its Grill'd Burgers then put simply, I'm a fan.

After going to Chatswood numerous times and seeing the rush of people heading in I decided to having another retail therapy session at Chatswood on the long weekend and the choice for lunch was Grill'd. After pondering at the menu intensely I bought the following...

'Ba Ba' Burger (Lamb)- they're a bit pricey for a burger but they're filling and ridiculously yummy

HOT CHIPS seasoned with rosemary and salt, a bit too salty for my liking so next time it's a no salt for me oh and when you buy this you must buying the dipping sauce
a coin for good luck (:
 bad weather )":
A treat after a day of shopping, taro, passionfruit and blueberry frozen yoghurt at Yogurberry. Sadly, I'm still awaiting their arrival at Eastwood

Menya Mappen Review

Located in the CBD this quaint and 'self service' restaurant is a real gem boasting wholesome and more importantly food that is cheap is value for money
 Fish cake + sweet potato
Japanese Curry Udon only $5.90 and yes it was filling
Vegetable Kakiage tempura - I'm not a real fan of this one mainly because I have a low tolerance for deep fried food. On the right is beef udon same price as curry udon

If you interested in this place then for further info go visit this food blog

Wagamama Review

Seeing as I love eating out I might as well do some reviews yeah?

So I went to this Japanese Restaurant with some friends whilst out in the city on an economics excursion btw I met Ross Gittins (i had a photo with him as well as his signature <3).

Wagamama is situation in The Galeries opposite QVB, second level near Kinokuniya.
The food is reasonably priced for city but the portions aren't that great for me myself I would go there once and then find a better Japanese restaurant.

Complementary Coke, not a fan of the drink but I cant say the same for their glass bottles <3
Yaki (Seafood) Udon the only problem was that I'm a udon in soup person not stir-fried but nonetheless it was an enjoyable first
Ginger Chicken Udon

Anyhow thanks for reading!

I buy lots of 85 degrees cakes (mostly for others) but yeah enjoy
 Mango bubble
Strawberry White Chocolate - beware this is packed full of sugar so eat only if you have a massive sweet tooth

 Shangri-lah mango
Taro roll- sorry forgot its full name
